The 21-year-old was also brilliant at the bowl as he picked up three handsome wickets giving just 41 runs as his team MIG Cricket Club won the match from Islam Gymkhana in the 73rd Police Invitation Sheild cricket tournament.

He made his Mumbai senior team debut in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Haryana.
