Day One Score 233-6 After 89 Overs

The only thing that was in favour of team India was the toss. It was known before the match that the team that wins the toss will definitely choose to bat first. India won the toss and skipper Virat Kohli decided to bat first.

Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal came to open for India. It was the only 2nd ball of the day and India lost its first wicket as Prithvi Shaw. Second day, on the very 3rd ball India loses 7th wicket in the name of Ravichandran Ashwin and India is still on 233-7 after 89.3 overs, without scoring a single run. Within 93.1 overs India could manage to score 244 runs after losing 10 wickets.
